- Q. Do I have to register to use the forums?A. You can enter as a guest and read posts, but you must register before you can post or answer a post that's already there. Registering is quick, simple, and free. Please join us.
- Q. Are there any types of posts that are prohibited here?A. Yes. Flames, harassing, or rude/insensitive remarks will be removed. Posts with profanity will be removed. Users who are disruptive may lose forum privileges at the Guide's discretion.
- Q. May I promote my product or Web site here?A. You may post once, in the Ads and Promotion Folder, if you have a product or service that is specifically related to people in Phoenix or Arizona. Any more than one post, or posts advertising money-making propositions, or any other advertisement deemed not appropriate by the forum host, will be deleted. As with most places on the Internet, you may make your URL part of your "signature" by typing it under your name at the end of your posts.
- Q. What topics can be discussed?A. The board is intended to be a meeting place where you can discuss topics relating to Phoenix and the metropolitan area. Questions and discussions about jobs, activities, issues, relocation, visits or any other topic related to Phoenix or Arizona are appropriate.
- Q. Is this a "child-safe" bulletin board?A. No. Although an effort will be made to keep posts on-topic and to remove offensive posts, no one will be monitoring the board on a 24-hour basis. The board will be used by people of all ages with an interest in Phoenix.
- Q. Can I post articles or pictures in the forum?A. Information that you post in the forum must be your own original material, and you assume responsibility for it. You may not plagiarize or violate the copyright of any third party. If you include non-original content in your post, you are responsible for obtaining all required grants of rights or permission and you must provide due credit. Forum posts that the Guide suspects are plagiarized will be deleted, and the user may lose forum privileges, at the Guide's discretion.
- Q. I'm a Realtor. May I post messages in the forum?A. Just like any other product or service provider, you may announce your business in one post in the Ads and Promotion folder. You may participate in discussions in the forum, but references to contacting you for real estate services will be deleted. It is acceptable, however, to include your company name and link under your signature. If people want your assistance, they'll know how to find you!
