Our wonderful weather and beautiful desert environment makes this area perfect for hot air ballooning. Here are some companies that can take you on that special adventure.
Goodyear Balloon and Air Spectacular
Each fall the skies fill with hot air balloons at the Goodyear Balloon and Air Spectacular. It was called the Thunderbird Balloon Classic before that, and the Metris Balloon Classic before that! Get all the details about the Goodyear Balloon and Air Spectacular.

Adventures Aloft
Founded in 1978, Adventures Aloft is one of Phoenix's first commercial hot air balloon companies. They offer basic flights as well as exclusive flights for couples and families.
Arizona Balloon Club
Founded in 1974 as The Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian Hot Air Balloon and Airship Ascension Social Society, Inc. The Club is dedicated to perpetuating the sport of Hot Air Ballooning. It is made up mostly of sport balloonists and a few experienced gas balloonists as well as, several commercial balloonists.

Arizona Ballooning
Choose a morning flight at sunrise, or choose to charter a sunset flight (November through March). Each flight lasts an hour to an hour and a half.

Unicorn Balloon Company
Hot air balloons depart daily from sites near Scottsdale and Carefree. Summer launches commence shortly after sunrise, departures during fall and winter are later. The duration of flights varies between 1 and 2 hours.
Zephyr Balloon
The balloons fly from 45 to 90 minutes. Then they land in the desert and have a ‘Safari style’ continental breakfast.
